Well after a puncture on my bike before we even started and then 2 slipped chains on Warwicks and Angelas, things got off to an eventful start. We set off at about 10.30 from Lands End and proceeded through Truro to Liskeard. 79 miles in total today and a lot of hills. I dont think any of us were prepared for the hills we had to face. And even if you were they just seemed to never end...
Aside from that, a lot of sore bottoms already and we're all pretty sleepy. Only 69 miles tomorrow but seemingly Dartmoor is a nightmare for hills. Onwards and upwards
Oh my! ....... you only have to look at the map to see it is uphill from Lands End to John O'Groats!!! You are going from the bottom of the map and UP to the top!
